Our Core Principle: Local-First

We do not track you. We do not collect analytics. We do not sell data. Our products like Shadow-IT Guardian process everything locally on your machine. Your code never leaves your environment.

1. What We Collect

Email Addresses (Optional): Only if you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter via the "JOIN PROTOCOL" form. We use this solely to send you field notes on digital sovereignty and product updates.

No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. We may use Vercel Analytics (privacy-focused, aggregated metrics only) to monitor site performance.

No Cookies: This website does not set tracking cookies. Session cookies may be used for authentication if you access the admin panel.

2. How We Use Your Data

Newsletter Emails: Stored securely in our database. Used only to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Product Telemetry: Shadow-IT Guardian and other SyncMars tools do NOT send telemetry. All processing happens locally. We never see your code, dependencies, or project structure.

Server Logs: Standard web server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) are retained for 7 days for security purposes only.

3. Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services:

  • Vercel: Hosting and edge infrastructure
  • Turso (LibSQL): Database hosting
  • Email Service: For newsletter delivery (e.g., Resend, SendGrid)

These services have their own privacy policies. We choose providers that respect user privacy.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your email from our newsletter list
  • Request a copy of any data we have about you
  • Opt out of communications at any time
